Join the Policy & Legislative Committee
The purpose of the Policy & Legislative Committee is to raise awareness of autism-related public policy issues, as well as to foster communication between policy makers and our supporters. If you want to help make a difference, and improve the lives of all Delawareans affected by autism spectrum disorder (ASD), please consider joining this committee.
Learn what it means to be an ASD advocate. Be the voice for those who can’t speak for themselves. It can be as simple as sending an e-mail to a legislator, or writing a letter to the editor of a newspaper. Committee members are also invited to go to Legislative Hall in Dover to meet with legislators to talk about bills that affect individuals and families living with ASD. Being a member of the Legislative Committee is fun, interesting, and fulfilling.
