The Walk for Autism
With the guidance of local, state & federal officials, planning for the 2021 Walk for Autism is underway! Please see below for details.

Printed Event Program - NEW THIS YEAR!
The printed event program is a unique way for individuals to show their support for their loved one with autism. It will highlight our walk teams, participants, supporters and sponsors. Purchase ad space to show your enthusiasm for your team,
add a photo of your loved one or your favorite walk memory,
show your words of encouragement to a walk participant
or simply purchase a printed line to make someone smile.
The 2021 Walk For Autism Is On!
October 16, 2021 – Bellevue State Park, Wilmington
October 23, 2021 – Cape Henlopen State Park, Lewes
We are excited to announce that we will be hosting the 15th Annual Walk for Autism on Saturday, October 16 at Bellevue State Park in Wilmington and Saturday, October, 23 at Cape Henlopen State Park in Lewes. Why in October? With the cases of COVID19 rising and guideline changing on a weekly basis, we were unable to host our traditional event in the spring within the current restrictions. We chose fall in the hopes that the guidelines and restrictions will lessen compared to the current state. Now we have the added option of wearing Halloween costumes, too.
The walks are being planned with optimism, creativity and flexibility. Please be assured that safety is the number one priority of our walkers, volunteers and staff. We have designed the events within the current pandemic guidelines and to still maintain the community closeness aspect as best as we could. The pandemic has created many obstacles for us but we have been facing these challenges and we are anticipating two fantastic events.
Tell Your Story

It’s personal, it’s meaningful, it’s your truth.
Tell us your story and we’ll feature it here on our website and on our social media pages.
