Parent-to-Parent (P2P) Workshop Series
This workshop series will run every day from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm (at 6:30 pm 15-minute question session) starting September 25th and ending on September 29, 2023. Trina Cale-Rosario and Michele Smith will be facilitating the sessions as parents and Autism Delaware Family Services staff.
About this event:
Parent to Parent is a five-session training series where parent coaches bring their experiences and education to support families who are raising a child with autism. Families will gain a deeper understanding of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and learn how to create a supportive environment for their child to be successful.
Session I: Understanding ASD
Session II: Communication
Session III: Visual Supports
Session IV: Visual Supports in Practice
Session V: Positive Advocacy
The deadline to register is September 19, 2023. Workshop registration closes when we reach the maximum of 25 participants.
This training is offered FREE to parents and caregivers.
